Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: The Equator & Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Morning Pickup: We begin with a pickup from your hotel or preferred location in Kampala or Entebbe.
Scenic Drive: Travel westward through Uganda’s picturesque countryside, with views of banana plantations, Ankole long-horned cattle, and rolling savannah landscapes.
Exciting Stops Along the Way:
Equator Line Stop – Capture iconic photos standing in both hemispheres!
Local Crafts & Souvenirs – Opportunity to browse handmade items at the Equator.
Evening Arrival: Check in at your safari lodge inside Queen Elizabeth National
Park. Relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the next day’s adventure.
Day 2: Game Drive & Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel
Early Morning Game Drive: Depart at 6:30 am to explore the Kasenyi Plains—home
to lions, leopards, elephants, hyenas, buffaloes, antelopes, and over 600 bird
species.
Breakfast & Relaxation: Return to the lodge for breakfast and downtime.
Afternoon Boat Cruise: Cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway
connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. Spot hippos, crocodiles, elephants,
buffaloes, and vibrant birdlife up close.
Evening: Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Return to Kampala
Morning: After breakfast, begin the journey back to Kampala.
Lunch Stop: Enjoy a local meal in Mbarara town.
Afternoon Arrival: Arrive in Kampala, concluding your safari.
